Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel - Invalides
The avenue de Breteuil, which leads to the Hôtel des Invalides, is the main link in Paris’ 7th arrondissement. The western part of the neighbourhood is situated around the Champ-de-Mars, a straight green line that goes from the Ecole Militaire to the Tour Eiffel. The eastern part houses a number of government ministries and political headquarters. The esplanades are replaced by smart, prosperous streets such as the rue de Bourgogne, rue de Varenne and rue de Grenelle. The 7th arrondissement has two aspects to it: on the one hand, it is both central and tourist-oriented, with monuments that attract millions of visitors a year, and on the other, it also a very quiet, residential neighbourhood where you can easily find a first-class property, whether it is a luxury apartment, a great town house or a splendid mansion.
